As you can see....I'm baaaaaaaaaack! =D I'm still making slow work of recovering a decent collection of textures, brushes and fonts to work with (and still working with the Gimp....) but I've officially decided to try and get back into the swing of icon-ing.

That being said...I'm looking for a good, moderately-to-very active, theme-based challenge group to help motivate me to work on icons more regularly...possibly one that caters more towards "real life"/celebrity icons??? If anyone knows any communities, I'm open to recommendations.

As you may have noticed.......

I haven't exactly updated in awhile. and that includes my iconfiend100 challenge T.T

There are several reasons for this:

1) I recently got a job
2) I recently got a new laptop (yay mac!! <3)
3) because of 2, I no longer use my old PC
4) because of 3, well...the old PC went to my younger brother....so who KNOWS if any of my old files are even still in existence, nevermind the fact that I have very little access to them (or great desire to dirty my adamantly converted Mac-savvy fingers on it)

so basically.....I'm going on hiatus.

for awhile.

T_T I'll miss you iconfiend100

and i even had at least 5 more icons that were finished already T_T

if anyone wants to buy me photoshop though...that might....*ahem* ENCOURAGE me to get back into lj
